When are RSVPs due?

Do I have to RSVP on the website?

Yes, please!  Even if we've already coordinated your attendance offline, please RSVP on the website too.

Why does RSVPing require my email and/or phone number?

Accepted Answer

Email is required for all RSVPs.  This is a function of the website; I can't change it.

Phone numbers are required to RSVP for the boat.  This is because we are required to provide emails and phone numbers of all passengers on the manifest.  A waiver for you to complete will be emailed and/or texted to you before the boat ride.

Can I bring a plus-one or guests?

We’re so excited to celebrate with you on our special day! Due to limited venue capacity and to ensure everyone’s comfort, bringing a plus-one is only possible if you were specifically notified in advance that you could. This applies to children as well (the only kids attending will be family). If you did receive that confirmation, please feel free to bring your guest; otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo so we can accommodate all our loved ones. Thank you for understanding and helping us make this tropical celebration unforgettable!

What is the dress code?

Ceremy & Reception - Island elegant	Men Examples:		Dress shirt		Slacks		Closed-toe shoes		Optional:  suit jacket		No: flip flops, shorts, aloha shirts, or ties (groom and groomsmen will not be in ties)			Women Examples:		Flowy midi or maxi dresses		Colorful floral, tropical, ocean-inspired prints		Dressy sandals, wedges (keep in mind that reception is on grass)		No: flip flops, super casual sundressesBoat - Casual	Wear what makes you comfortable! Sundresses, shorts, more formal maxi dresses, aloha shirts, t-shirts (dudes please don't be shirtless and girls please no bikini tops or swimsuits). It can get chilly with the wind so good idea to bring a lightweight jacket. There is no swimming during the boat ride, it is a sunset sail + dinner only. 	The boat is barefoot only; they take your shoes before boarding.

Should I rent a car?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Public transportation is limited, so we recommend renting a car for your stay. Please arrange your own transportation to the boat ride, if you are attending.

Where should I stay?

Accepted Answer

We recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt Kauai, as this is where the wedding will be taking place.  However, staying at any hotel or Airbnb in Poipu or Koloa will still be very convenient.  If you'd like to stay on a different part of the island, feel free, just know that rush hour does exist on the island!

If you choose to stay at the Hyatt, use code CR85917 for a discount at time of booking (not applicable if you've already reserved a room in our block).

How long should I stay?

All guests are invited to our ceremony and reception on October 10th and the boat ride on October 11th.  At a minimum, we recommend arriving on the 9th and departing on the 12th, but we encourage you to stay longer and check out the island! All we ask is that you please be on time to the ceremony; otherwise the venue will not allow you to attend :)

I'm not staying at the Grand Hyatt, but I'd like to access the pool.  Can I?

Accepted Answer

Hyatt requires you be a guest to access the pool.  If you'd like a Poolside Day Pass, you can find one here for about $100.  If enough people want to visit the pool on a specific day, we can request a discounted rate from the hotel.  Let Brian and Robyn know if you're interested in this.

Nope!  If you'd rather stay ashore, no problem.  Cya!Please arrange your own transportation to and from the boat ride if you are attending.
